Is discharge with an odour normal?
A strong or unpleasant vaginal odour, especially with unusual discharge, is not typical and usually points to a treatable infection.
Healthy discharge has little to no strong smell. A noticeable fishy or foul odour often indicates a bacterial imbalance or infection.
It is usually easy to diagnose and treat once evaluated by a doctor.
Do not rely on scented products to mask odour — get the underlying cause checked instead.
